General Refund Policy
Provider Approval Required
All treatments are subject to medical evaluation and provider approval. Payment does not guarantee approval, prescription, medication dispensing, treatment continuation, or a specific outcome.
If Treatment Is Not Approved
If treatment is not approved by the provider before medication is dispensed, shipped, or prepared for patient use, payment will be refunded.
Change of Mind / Voluntary Cancellation
Payments are not refundable merely because a patient changes their mind after payment if provider review, treatment processing, medication preparation, appointment reservation, or service preparation has already begun. If a patient requests cancellation before provider review, before medication preparation, before dispensing, and before any service has been rendered, DWLC may review the request and determine whether cancellation is available.
Prescription Medications
Prescription medications are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed, shipped, picked up, or prepared for patient-specific use. Prescription medications cannot be accepted back into inventory once released or prepared for a specific patient due to safety, sterility, storage, chain-of-custody, and regulatory considerations.
Patient-Specific Medication Preparation
If medication has been prepared, labeled, ordered, allocated, or processed specifically for a patient, cancellation or refund may not be available even if the patient has not yet picked up the medication.
Services Already Rendered
Fees for services already rendered are non-refundable. This may include, but is not limited to:
Provider evaluations
Medical reviews
Telehealth reviews
In-clinic consultations
Aesthetic consultations where a fee applies
Treatment sessions already performed
Blood draw or lab coordination services already initiated
Administrative processing already completed
Aesthetic and Med Spa Services
Aesthetic treatments are elective and results vary. Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction with expected or desired cosmetic outcomes once a service has been performed. If a patient has a concern, DWLC will review the treatment record and may recommend follow-up, aftercare, or additional options at the provider’s discretion.
Packages, Prepaid Programs, Promotions, and Credits
Package purchases, prepaid programs, promotional pricing, and credits may be subject to separate written terms. Unless stated otherwise:
Promotional offers cannot be combined.
Unused package portions may expire according to the stated terms.
Package credits are not transferable.
Prescription medication portions are non-refundable once prepared, dispensed, or shipped.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates and not guarantees. DWLC is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or events outside clinic control. Patients are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment due to incorrect information or missed delivery.
Clinic Pickup
Clinic pickup may be available for eligible patients. Patients must follow clinic instructions for pickup, storage, and use. Medication prepared for a patient cannot be reassigned to another patient.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Patients agree to contact DWLC directly regarding billing concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. DWLC may submit documentation to the payment processor showing patient authorization, policy acceptance, provider review, dispensing records, shipping records, communication history, and clinic documentation.
No Membership / No Automatic Billing Unless Stated
Unless clearly stated in writing, DWLC medical weight loss programs are pay-as-you-go and do not require memberships or automatic billing.
